This is a 2019 Fender American Performer Sandblasted Telecaster in natural finish. Weight = 7lbs, 8oz. Comes with original gig bag, COA, hangtag, sealed papers, and a really nice leather Fender Road Worn strap.
Condition
Cosmetically, the guitar looks amazing. No dings or marks to be seen. Frets are in excellent condition. I tried to take some pics showing the grooving in the body but they don’t do it justice.

Sound & Playability
This guitar has a beautiful maple neck with a satin soft back. Plays nice all over the rosewood fretboard. All electronics work perfectly. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks!

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well–with or without a hard case. The alluringly unusual finish treatment on this Sweetwater-exclusive American Special Sandblasted Telecaster is sure to garner many jealous glances. After Fender applied a transparent finish to this guitar’s ash body, it was sandblasted, leaving its surface grain pattern textured with parallel ruts and grooves. Its black grain-filler coat was then visible beneath the color finish coat, creating a one-of-a-kind surface topography — no two sandblasted instruments are alike. Beautifully complemented by a black pickguard, this Tele is an exquisite instrument.
Cut through the mix
You’re sure to cut through the mix with this Fender American Special Sandblasted Tele, thanks to its Texas Special single-coil pickups. These overwound pups are built with Alnico V magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire. The bridge pickup features height-staggered magnets and a copper-plated steel bottom plate for increased output, presence, and midrange, while the nickel-silver cover on the neck pickup produces a clear, warm tone that only a true Tele pickup can do. From Merle to metal, these pickups demand attention.
Fast-playing Modern C maple neck
Leo Fender wasn’t afraid to think outside the box when it came to guitar designs. In the 1950s and well into the 1970s, the blonde natural maple neck became almost synonymous with Fender guitars.
